- Counseling
- Oncology social workers help you find ways to cope with the emotional and practical challenges of cancer. Available in person or over the phone.
- Support Groups
- Connect with other people who are in a similar situation in our free support groups led by professional oncology social workers.
- Connect Education Workshops
- Leading experts in oncology provide up-to-date information in these free, one-hour workshops that you can listen to over the telephone or stream online. Listen in live to learn about cancer-related issues from the convenience of your home or office. Past workshops are also available as podcasts.
- Publications
- Our free booklets and fact sheets offer up-to-date, easy-to-read information about the latest treatments, managing side effects, and coping with cancer.
- Financial Help
- Our staff helps you manage financial concerns and provides referrals. Limited aid is available to eligible families for cancer-related costs like transportation and child care.
- Specialized Programs
- CancerCare for Kids® focuses on the needs of parents with cancer and children who are coping with a diagnosis of a family member. CancerCare also offers programs for caregivers, young adults, post-treatment survivors, and the bereaved.
- Community Programs
- CancerCare also provides community workshops, therapeutic activities, and special events throughout the year.
