Telephone Education Workshops podcasts are available in two file formats: Real Player and MP3.
To stream the Real Audio file to your computer please click the "Real Player"
link next to the title of the Telephone Education Workshop you wish to hear.
To listen to Real Audio files, you will need the RealPlayer software,
which is available as a free
download.
What is streaming?
By breaking up audio files into smaller sections your player can let you begin listening to a workshop without waiting for an entire file to be downloaded. This also means that anyone listening to our workshops over a dial-up internet connection does not have to start their downloads over from the beginning if they get disconnected. If you would prefer to download a workshop and listen to it on your MP3 player please see below. To download Real Audio player, click the logo above.
If you would like to save the MP3 file to your hard drive for transfer to an iPod or MP3 player please follow these instructions:
- Right-click on the "MP3" link of the file you would like to download.
- You will see a list of options. Scroll down and select "Save Link As…".
- After clicking on "Save Link As…", you will be given the opportunity to save the file to your computer.
- In the top of the "Save As" window, there is a drop-down box with which you can select where you want to save the file. If you click on the box and select "Desktop," you will be able to easily remember where to find the file after you have saved it. Be sure to note the name of the file, or re-name it to something descriptive and click the "Save" button.
- You can now play the file from your computer at your leisure, or load it onto an iPod or MP3 player to listen to later when you are on the go.
