Questions to Ask

An appointment with a doctor can be an overwhelming experience. There are a lot of questions to ask and important information to remember. To help with the anxiety—and to assist in keeping track of all the important information—the patient may want to have a friend or family member present, or even tape record the conversation for later review. If patients choose to tape the meeting, they should make sure to inform the doctor before they begin. The lists of questions below are intended to help the patient and/or loved one receive the most information possible.
